Friday night I had the opportunity to join a group of people with a common goal: to form a young adult ministry aimed at fostering faith formation, understanding of different faiths as well as our own, and socialization among young adults in Sacramento.
The scripture reading for Friday included this excerpt from the letter to the Hebrews 13:2, 5-8
Do not neglect hospitality, for through it some have unknowingly entertained angels. Let your life be free from love of money but be content with what you have, for he has said, "I will never forsake you or abandon you." Thus we may say with confidence:
"The Lord is my helper, [and] I will not be afraid.
What can anyone do to me?"
Remember your leaders who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
I find it fitting that this past week the National Prayer Breakfast was held in Washington, D.C. A link to the President's comments is below.
I think the scripture and the President's comments exemplify the way we should all be looking at the world and trying to serve the Lord and each other.
God bless.

I agree with you completely! I also looked up President Obama's comments at the Prayer Breakfast. I am so glad he is leading our country...
